It’s Summertime! To all of us at Modern Masters, that means sun, wind, sand…and the promise of new projects! We looked high and low for great summer ideas everywhere to share with you (including our own Pinterest!) and put them together in this handy list. Best of all, you can PIN them for now for later. Are you ready? Let’s do this!
Ashley Harris Home created a warm and inviting entrance when she decided on a front door makeover project. She used our non fade Front Door Paint in the color Playful. Doesn’t it look incredible?
We swooned when we saw the gorgeous crackled dresser by Au Fait Farmhouse. They used our Crackle for Latex Paint in between paint layers to help create this finish. Be sure to check out their other beautiful furniture projects!
Edith & Evelyn Vintage found a forgotten vintage Pier mirror in a cramped antique store – what a find! They painted it with our Olympic Gold Metallic Paint and then aged it. Check out their blog for more on the mirror transformation.
Want an easy and beautiful Herb Garden DIY with patinas? You got it! Seeking Lavender Lane took ordinary vegetable cans and rusted them with our Metal Effects Rust Kit. So creative!
Decorative Artist and Muralist Sue Benyo has a studio in Northport, NY. Using a Royal Design Studio Stencil and our Silver Metallic Paint, she created an amazing stenciled accent wall that is all glam and style.
We’ve profiled Atlanta, GA artist Patricia Presto of On the Surface Design on our Modern Mastery series and we’re always so happy to see her beautiful projects. Even though she tackles large decorative paint projects, she’s also extremely adept at the smaller ones, including these coastal inspired starfish decor accents created with our Metal Effects. It’s the perfect way to remember all the fun and sun in the beach this summer!
Table and Hearth took tile, seashell patterned cork, and our Metal Effects Green Patina Kit to create these chic and beach inspired tile coasters. A fast, easy and oh-so-pretty DIY table decor that’ll delight your guests!
Debbie Hayes of My Patch of Blue Sky created super pretty, brightly colored and non fade garden markers with our Front Door Paint for her vegetable garden – though you could easily adapt this idea for your herbs, flowers, and more.
Summer is all about the warm and happy vibes! This vibrant yellow front door makes for a welcoming entrance during the warmer months while adding a dose of sunshine during the colder months. Mary Childs of Focal Points, Inc. picked the color Happy from our non fade Front Door Paint line for this beautiful front door update.
Aren’t these great summer project ideas? Go ahead and pin away – and be sure to follow us on Pinterest, too! We’ll be sure to keep sharing more amazing Modern Masters ideas and inspiration with you so stay tuned!
